The 12 to 18 November, 2010, VEPs participated in USAHA congress organized in Minneapolis, Minnesota state.
They attended to sessions on interest diseases, surveillance and control systems of animal or human diseases, new laboratory technology or new topics regarding search on public and animal healths. They had met a lot of experts. The agenda of the meeting is available bellow.
During the "Emerging and Foreign diseases" session, CaribVET presented VEP project and during the "Swine Diseases" session, Jean Rodney Jacques Simon (Haiti VEP) and John Shaw (USDA) presented an update on Teschovirus Encephalomielitis situation in Haiti and on ongoing project.
