On May 3 and 4, 2009, the CSFworking group of CaribVET convened a working session at the Hotel "Karibe" in Port au Prince, Haiti.

During this workshop, different topics were presented: presentation of CaribVET and its CSF working group, information regarding Teschovirus disease in Haiti, situation of CSF in Haiti, Dominican Republic and Cuba (only Caribbean countries concerned by this disease), risk analysis to CSF in animal health and presentation of the surveillance manual for the region.

Following this workshop, members of the CSF working group discussed and made recommendations on the activities of the coming year.
